HB Land has revealed the upcoming addition of a government primary school as part of Stage 4 development at Unity Park. The acquisition of the site has been officially endorsed by the Department of Education, with funds allocated for the construction of the school in the most recent government budget.
Set to be known as Riverdale North Primary School (interim name), this new educational institution will play a pivotal role in the burgeoning growth of our community. The Victorian School Building Authority will oversee the delivery of the project, aiming for completion in the first quarter of 2025.
The school is expected to welcome approximately 650 local students from Tarneit and neighbouring areas, offering classes from prep to grade six. It’s poised to create a robust learning foundation for young students, supporting their journey from early education to academic success.

Construction Progress – May 2023
Unity Park’s construction projects remain in high gear, with May witnessing an accelerated pace of development across multiple stages.
Stage 3 – Titles for Stage 3 were registered on 14 April 2023. Settlements are projected to follow shortly, slated for the latter part of April 2023.
Stage 4 – Progress has been swift in this stage, with footpath paving tasks nearing completion. Topsoiling operations will kick off towards the end of April 2023. Anticipated Settlement Date for Stage 4: Mid-2023
Stage 5- The installation of electrical and communication systems is now complete, with footpath paving work in progress. Anticipated Settlement Date for Stage 5: Mid-2023
Stage 6 – Construction of pavement began in April 2023, while water reticulation is scheduled to commence in May 2023. Anticipated Settlement Date for Stage 6: Q3 2023
Stage 7 – Drainage works are ongoing, with the initiation of pavement construction expected in May 2023. Anticipated Settlement Date for Stage 7: Q4 2023
